The incumbent shall be responsible for supporting the Head of Vena Energy Korea, and the Group Head, Communications in the development of digital and social media content, internal and corporate communications, host communities and media relations. The incumbent will also be primarily responsible for the maintenance and updating of Vena Energy’s social media accounts, corporate and country-based websites to help drive brand growth, recognition and support the business objectives in our operating jurisdictions across the Asia-Pacific.
Editorial and multimedia content development for Vena Energy’s social media accounts on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, country heads and website developers to maintain and update of Vena Energy’s corporate and country-based websites.
Providing counsel to the Executive Leadership and facilitating internal communications campaigns to drive employee engagement and alignment around key business priorities.
Management and updating Vena Energy’s corporate intranet.
Pitching and monitoring for news coverage, and the management of key media relations.
Development of communication strategies and tools for fostering relationships with the public sector, in addition to the residents within our host communities to obtain feedback and consent for project development.
A recognized degree in Mass Communications, Business, or Environmental Studies
Eight or more years of regional corporate communications or public relations experience working in a multinational corporation. Experience in public affairs and reputation management is preferable.
Communications experience within the energy or renewable energy industry is preferred, but not necessary.
A strong command of written and spoken English is a must. Similar fluency in other Asia-Pacific-based languages is a strong plus.
Intermediate-to-advance knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere.
Strong proofreading and copywriting skills will be required.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google SEO, SEM, SRP, and social media analytics.
Good interpersonal communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders effectively.
